  • Nipple discharge is a possible sign of breast cancer if the discharge is not milky but clear or blood like. Many women experience a nipple discharge due to infections or it can be considered as a natural reaction of the body when the nipple is squeezed. However, if the discharge takes place without squeezing and occurs in one breast only, it’s time that you get it checked by an expert.
  • Swelling, redness, warmth or darkening of the breast.
  • Unusual change in the shape or the size of the breast or the nipple.
  • Puckering or dimpling of the skin.
  • Itchiness, rash or scaly sore on the nipple of the breast.
  • Pulling in of a part of the breast such as the nipple.
  • Pain in one spot of the breast that just doesn’t go away easily.
  • Orange-peel like texture of the breast.
  • The presence of lymph nodes near the neck, armpit or on the breast itself.
